Comin' Clean

Well, we finally did it. Shortly after we uploaded or first episode, the reality sank in. It was at that moment we knew we had to tell our boss. Now, to be fair, we didn't think he would disapprove of our efforts, but we realized we had been remiss in looping him into our plans earlier. During our recording last week, he had entered our "studio" (which is simply the library at our parish). He saw us packing away our microphones and said, "What are y'all up to?" Before we could answer, he held up his hands and said, "Never mind. I don't want to know!" We laughed, dodged any awkwardness, and changed the subject. 

So today when we "went live" we called him up in his office. "Can we come see you for five minutes to share something?" we asked. He obliged us happily. And when we sat in front of his desk and told him of our podcast and that we each felt called to share God's love with anyone who will listen, he smiled so wide! His encouragement edified us and gave us the confidence to share the podcast with friends and family.
