Satan or the Saints

It's almost All Saints Day, y'all! As we approach this holyday of obligation in the Church year, we ask ourselves whose attitudes we are most closely mimicking: Satan's or the holy Saints in Heaven?  Every day presents us with a choice. Do we turn away from God, as Satan did, and say "no" to His holy will? Or do we mimic the saints by saying "yes" to what He has in store for us, even when we don't understand what the process will look like?  Mary and the saints said yes in remarkable ways, though they were but human beings. They were humble before the Lord in their submission to His will, whereas Satan rebelled and aimed at equality with God for the sake of power. 

We ask all the holy saints who have gone before us to pray for us, that we may be steadfast in love and obedience to God so that we may enjoy the rewards of eternity with Him forever.
